Bible Alive Teaching Ministry founders Adrian and Lynn at Big Bay, Cape Town

We're still moving in...
... however here is a little bit about Bible Alive Teaching Ministry. The primary function of this ministry is to serve God through the accurate teaching of His Word and the discipleship of His people by such mediums as local Church meetings, Bible studies, conferences, seminaries and via the internet. God called us into existence in February 1998 and then gave us a permanent home in Goodwood, Cape Town in September 2004.

Adrian and Lyn Tamblyn-Watts were God's chosen tools for the birthing and establishing of this vital ministry.

Since September 2004 Bible Alive Teaching Ministry has established a weekly teaching event called, 'School of the Word'. In addition, Bible Alive runs in partnership with various other ministries for the furtherance of teaching God's Word to as broad a spectrum of believers as possible both here in South Africa and beyond.

Examples of this cooperation are Docks Mission (Kensington, Cape Town) and Life Freedom Ministries (California, USA). Furthermore, Bible Alive serves as a partner of the South African Theological Seminary, where Adrian also served on the academic staff.

As mentioned above, this ministry is called to recognize calling, disciple, raise up through practical involvement and release ministry into the harvest field. To this end, Bible Alive is developing five-fold ministry gifting within its own ranks and assisting other churches and organizations to do the same.

What to look forward to...
Once fully up and running BibleAliveTeachingMinistry.com will be our communications hub, through which we will be providing Bible based teachings in written, audio and video formats.

We will also try to partner with as many accurate teachers of the Word of God as we can find, both offline and online, in order to offer you a reliable research/resource list.

Our disclaimer (not apology)...
We believe that Jesus is a living person who can be sought out, experienced and that as Christians it is our God given right to grow daily in our personal relationship with our Saviour. This is why we are not afraid to put aside dry religious preconceptions and to seek out Jesus in the Word of God... when religiosity reigns there is no place on the throne of your life for Jesus, the Glorified King.
